2007 - Minimalism - black geometric format - division of space - limited hand mixed gold & black color palette - one golden square contour line set in from the edges of the piece which gives the piece a black border - I made one curving organic line & filled it with the golden color I mixed - I then duplicated it plus made mirror images of it also - I placed them together - when I did this a nice organic design formed in the center of the cross piece - I then made a golden circle & used a stock radial fill with my hand mixed gold & white - I controlled the light so it would give the circular image dimension - I duplicated it so I would have 4 of them - I then placed them in the openings at the 4 ends of the golden cross like image - I like to think they are golden pearls set in a gold cross - I made this very special organic design cross like image as a gift for a friend of mine - I have just finished remaking this piece so you can see the true colors as the original had - I hope you find the beauty in it as both Helena & I did back in early 2007
